The LVMPD states that a single motorcycle accident occurred on August 24, 2022, at approximately 3:38 a.m.
As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department "Evidence at the scene and the Traffic Officer's report indicated, a 2008 Kawasaki ZX10R was traveling southbound on Upland Boulevard in the single southbound travel lane crossing the T-intersection with Mayflower Lane. The rider then failed to maintain his travel lane at which time the front tire struck a raised desert landscaped center median. The rider then failed to maintain control of the Kawasaki and overturned sliding to a stop. The rider was transported to UMC Trauma for advanced medical care and then admitted into the Intensive Care Unit."
