The LVMPD states that a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle occurred at approximately 8:25 p.m. on June 13, 2022.

As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department “Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated a 2008 Chrysler Sebring was traveling north on Fort Apache in the first of two through travel lanes (T1). The pedestrian was crossing outside of an implied crosswalk at Martin Ave. from west to east. A collision occurred when the left front of the Chrysler made contact with the pedestrian. The collision redirected the pedestrian to the north, where she came to rest in the roadway. Arriving medical personnel transported the pedestrian to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Chrysler remained on the scene of the collision. Impairment on the part of the driver of the Chrysler is pending the analysis of the blood samples.”
