Type of Accident:

Single-Vehicle Motorcycle Collision

Accident Summary:

The LVMPD states that a single-vehicle motorcycle collision occurred on July 20th, 2022, at approximately 11:21 p.m.

As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department “Evidence at the scene indicated a 2021 Harley Davidson was traveling eastbound on Badura Avenue at a high rate of speed. The rider failed to stop or sufficiently slow the motorcycle before the pavement ended. As a result, the motorcyclist overturned the Harley Davidson and slid into a dirt berm. The motorcyclist and motorcycle were vaulted over the berm and separated. Both the motorcycle and motorcyclist came to rest in the desert area east of the pavement. The motorcyclist sustained substantial injuries from the collision and was transported by EMS to UMC Trauma, where he remains in critical condition. Impairment is believed to have been a contributing factor to the collision. This collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.”
