Accident Summary:
A man has died in a tragic accident on January 22, 2023, in front of 2052 Quarry Ridge Street. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the man was knocked to the ground by his own parked and running vehicle.
The 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo began rolling backward down the sloped driveway, and when the man was lying on the ground, it rolled over him and started to drag him. Despite life-saving efforts, the man was declared dead at the scene. Impairment is not considered to be a factor in this accident.
The LVMPD’s Collision Investigation Section is investigating the incident.
