Accident Summary:
The LVMPD states that an auto versus pedestrian collision occurred on July 30, 2022, at approximately 9:40 a.m.
As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department “Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated that a male pedestrian was walking northbound across all lanes of West Charleston Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk. A collision occurred when a dark in color westbound sedan struck the pedestrian. The sedan fled the scene without stopping to render aid. Arriving emergency medical services transported the pedestrian to University Medical Center’s Trauma Unit for medical treatment. Despite all life-saving measures, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.”
