Accident Summary:
The LVMPD states that a vehicle vs pedestrian accident occurred on December 29, 2022, at approximately 5:33 p.m.
As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department “Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicate that a 2013 Nissan Altima traveled westbound on East Desert Inn Road, west of South Pecos Road. A pedestrian traveled north across East Desert Inn Road, west of South Pecos Road, outside a marked crosswalk. A collision occurred when the pedestrian entered the path of the Nissan and was struck. Arriving emergency medical personnel transported the pedestrian to Sunrise Hospital’s Trauma Center, where he remains in critical condition. The Nissan’s driver remained at the collision scene and showed no signs of impairment. The collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section.”
