Accident Summary:
The LVMPD states that a pedestrian accident occurred on August 9, 2022, at approximately 4:00 a.m.
As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department “Evidence at the scene and the driver’s statement indicated that a 2013 Ford F-150 was traveling southbound on South Rainbow Boulevard on the left of three through travel lanes (T1) at the intersection with West Palmyra Avenue. A pedestrian was crossing South Rainbow Boulevard in an unknown direction. A collision occurred when the front of the Ford collided with the pedestrian. The pedestrian was projected forward and onto the roadway. Responding emergency medical personnel determined the pedestrian was beyond resuscitation and was pronounced deceased at the scene.”
