Accident Summary:
The LVMPD states that a vehicle accident occurred on August 25, 2022, at approximately 11:35 a.m.
As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department “Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated a white 2019 Hyundai Sonata was traveling eastbound on Elkhorn, approaching the intersection of Cimarron in the dedicated right turn lane. A white 2014 Volkswagen Jetta was northbound Cimarron entering the intersection of Elkhorn in the dedicated left turn lane. The Hyundai continued east through the intersection, and a collision occurred when the front of the Hyundai made contact with the left side of the Volkswagen. The driver of the Hyundai was transported to Centennial Hills Hospital for his injuries. The driver of the Volkswagen was transported to UMC trauma for life-threatening injuries.”
