Accident Summary:
The LVMPD states that a vehicle vs motorcycle accident occurred on August 29, 2022, at approximately 1:55 a.m.
As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department “Evidence at the scene indicates that a 2014 Audi Q5 was traveling west on Bonanza Road in the middle westbound travel lane. A 2008 Suzuki GSX-R was traveling in the same lane and direction of travel approaching the Audi. A collision occurred when the motorcycle rear-ended the Audi at an excessive speed. The Audi’s driver and passenger remained at the collision scene and showed no signs of impairment. The motorcyclist was transported by ground ambulance to UMC Trauma from the collision scene with injuries determined to be life-threatening by Trauma Staff. The Audi’s occupants reported minor claimed injuries and declined medical attention. This collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.”
