Accident Summary:
The LVMPD states that a vehicle vs motorcycle accident occurred on September 19, 2022, at approximately 11:24 a.m.
As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department “Evidence at the scene, witness statements, and dash cam footage indicated that a 2019 Yamaha MT-09 Motorcycle was traveling westbound on Flamingo Road, approaching a Private Driveway on the north side of Flamingo Road. A 2020 Isuzu NQR Box Truck was turning left from eastbound Flamingo Road to the Private Driveway from an uncontrolled dedicated left turn lane. The Isuzu’s driver failed to yield the right of way and crossed the motorcyclist’s travel path, resulting in a collision. The motorcyclist was transported to UMC Trauma by ground ambulance from the collision scene, where, despite medical intervention, he was pronounced deceased by Trauma Staff. The Isuzu’s driver remained at the collision scene and did not show any signs of impairment.”
