A Toyota Camry was headed north on Mel Torme Way when it collided with two pedestrians who were crossing Mel Torme Way at the intersection of Spring Mountain Road. The pedestrians were transported to University Medical Center with substantial to life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Camry was arrested for driving under the influence.
