The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) reports that a three-car collision occurred on January 13, 2025, at 5:17 p.m. A Toyota Camry was traveling west on Lake Mead Boulevard quickly approaching the intersection of Toiyabe Street while weaving through traffic. A Lexus ES330 was in the turn lane on Lake Mead Boulevard attempting to make a left turn onto Toiyabe Street. A Dodge Challenger was traveling east on Lake Mead Boulevard approaching the intersection of Toiyabe Street. The Camry swerved between two lanes and into the turn lane striking the passenger side of the Lexus. The Camry then traveled into the east lanes and struck the front of the Challenger. Once medical personnel arrived on the scene, they transported all of the drivers and occupants to UMC Trauma. One remains in critical condition while the others have significant injuries. The driver of the Toyota Camry was suspected of impairment and was arrested for bodily harm and DUI-related charges.
