to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a collision
involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian occurred on Sunday, February 8, 2026,
at around 4:39 p.m. The accident took place on Decatur Boulevard near Post Road.
A 2008 Suzuki GSX650F motorcycle was headed south on Decatur Boulevard when it
collided with a pedestrian crossing Decatur Boulevard. Medical personnel
arrived on scene and transported the pedestrian and the motorcyclist to UMC Trauma
for their injuries. The pedestrian was later pronounced dead at the hospital. This
marks the 16th traffic-related fatality for LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2026.
