A 2016 Freightliner truck was headed west on Twain Avenue when it collided with a pedestrian who was crossing the street. Medical personnel arrived on scene, but the injuries sustained by the pedestrian were too significant. They were pronounced dead at the scene. This marks the 24th traffic-related fatality for LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2026.
