According to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there was a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle on Friday, July 11, at around 2:23 a.m. on Tropicana Avenue, just east of Las Vegas Boulevard. A 2018 Kia Niro was headed east on Tropicana Avenue when it collided with the pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. This marks the 88th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2025.
