According to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there was a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle on Redwood Street, just north of Flamingo Road, on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at around 2:00 a.m. A 2008 Infiniti G35 was driving west on Flamingo Road when it made a right turn onto Redwood Street and hit a pedestrian. Medical personnel arrived on the scene and transported the pedestrian to the University Medical Center’s Trauma Unit, where they were pronounced dead by medical staff. The driver of the Infiniti was arrested for DUI-related charges. This marks the 73rd traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction.
