According to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there was a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle on Rancho Drive and Decatur Boulevard on June 19, 2025, at around 5:16 p.m. A 2013 Ram 1500 was headed south on Rancho Drive approaching Decatur Boulevard when it hit a pedestrian who was crossing east in a crosswalk. Medical personnel arrived at the scene of the accident and transported the pedestrian to the University Medical Center’s Trauma Center, where they were pronounced dead from their injuries. This marks the 81st traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2025.
