According to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there was a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle at around 5:51 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2025. The accident occurred on Nellis Boulevard, just south of Sahara Avenue. A 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche was headed south on Nellis Boulevard when it collided with a pedestrian. Medical personnel arrived on scene and transported the pedestrian to Sunrise Hospital by ambulance, where the pedestrian was pronounced dead by hospital staff. This marks the 146th traffic-related fatality for LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2025.
