Lake Mead Boulevard, approaching the intersection of Lamont Street, when it
collided with a pedestrian who was in the crosswalk. The pedestrian was pronounced
dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Fleetwood failed to remain
at the scene after the crash. They were later located and arrested for hit-and-run
and DUI charges. This marks the 14th traffic-related fatality for LVMPD’s jurisdiction
