According to a report from Fox 5 News, there was a collision that occurred between a pedestrian and a vehicle on Monday, May 5, at around 3:20 a.m. A dark-colored sedan was headed east on Flamingo Road. A pedestrian was crossing the street east of Palos Verdes Street when the vehicle collided with the pedestrian. The driver of the vehicle proceeded to flee the scene of the accident. Due to the injuries sustained in the crash, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
