According to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there was a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on May 6, 2025, at around 4:41 p.m. on Warm Springs Road, east of Mann Street. A 2008 Volkswagen Passat was headed west on Warm Springs Road when it collided with a pedestrian who was walking east on Warm Springs Road. Medical personnel arrived at the scene, but the injuries sustained by the pedestrian were too significant, and they were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI-related charges. This marks the 63rd traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction.
