Article Summary:
On February 21, 2025, at 3:10 p.m., the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian that occurred on West Hacienda Avenue west of South Decatur Boulevard. A Telsa Model 3 headed west on Hacienda Avenue just west of Decatur Boulevard. A pedestrian on a mobility scooter was crossing over Decatur Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk. The pedestrian crossed in front of the Tesla causing them to strike the pedestrian and they were projected off their scooter into the roadway. Medical personnel arrived on scene and transported the pedestrian to UMC Trauma where they are being treated for their critical injuries.
