According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there was a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian that occurred on March 4, 2025, at around 5:15 a.m. on Boulder Highway just north of Tropicana Avenue. The report states that a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder was headed south on Boulder Highway, approaching Tropicana Avenue. Two pedestrians were crossing Boulder Highway in a marked crosswalk. The vehicle braked for the pedestrian and swerved to the left. One pedestrian stopped, but the other pedestrian was struck by the Nissan. Medical personnel arrived on scene and the pedestrian was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where they remain in critical condition.
