Accident Summary:
At 7:48 p.m. on January 6, 2025, a person was struck by an automobile on South Paradise Road, just south of East Naples Drive.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), a 2023 Buick Envision was traveling south on Paradise Road when a male pedestrian walked into the car’s path outside of a marked crosswalk. The front of the Buick hit the pedestrian, who was transported to Sunrise Hospital by ambulance. Due to the injurihttps://www.lvmpd.com/Home/Components/News/News/1614/263es sustained, the male was pronounced dead. The rider’s death marks the second traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction of 2025.
