According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), a fatal accident occurred on North Durango Drive near Corbett Street on February 5, 2025, at around 5:32 a.m. A 2018 Honda Accord was headed north on Durango Drive approaching Corbett Street. A pedestrian was in the street outside of a marked crosswalk. The Honda struck the pedestrian and pushed them into the roadway. Medical personnel arrived on scene, but the injuries sustained were too significant and the pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene. This is the 21st traffic fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction.
