The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) reports a pedestrian fatality due to a motor vehicle accident on January 29, 2025, at around 3:36 p.m. A pedestrian was walking on Las Vegas Boulevard just north of Lamb Boulevard on the east side of the private drive to 3732 Las Vegas Boulevard. A 2005 Nissan Armada was exiting west out of the private drive headed south on Las Vegas Boulevard. The Nissan struck the pedestrian and dragged them across the roadway. Medical personnel arrived on the scene and transported the pedestrian to UMC Trauma. However, the injuries were so significant that the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and passed. This traffic-related fatality is the 16th in the LVMPD’s jurisdiction for the year 2025. In addition, the driver of the Nissan was arrested for DUI-related charges.
