One Motorcyclist Dead After Car Crash on Lake Mead Boulevard in Las Vegas, NV

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there was a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle on Lake Mead Boulevard just west of Del Webb Boulevard on March 22, 2025, at 6:19 p.m. A 2025 Yamaha R7 motorcycle was headed west on Lake Mead Boulevard at a high rate of speed. A 2005 Lexus LS430 was headed east on Lake Mead Boulevard. The Lexus attempted to turn left into a private drive and was hit by the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was ejected from their bike into the roadway. Medical personnel arrived on the scene and transported both the motorcyclist and driver to the University Medical Center Trauma Unit. Due to the significant injuries, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the hospital. This is the 38th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for the year 2025.
