Accident Summary:
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that a car hit a bicyclist on January 6, 2025, at 11:21 p.m.
At the intersection of East Washington Ave and North Mojave Road, a bicyclist was riding east on the sidewalk of Washington Avenue. A 2024 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west on Washington Avenue and attempted to make a left turn onto Mojave Road. The bicyclist attempted to ride across Mojave Road in a marked crosswalk and the front of the Chevrolet hit the bicycle. This collusion resulted in the cyclist sustaining significant injuries and was transported by ambulance to UMC Trauma where he remains in critical condition.
