According to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there was a
collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle on Charleston Boulevard and
Monticello Drive at around 9:49 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1. A 2009 Ford F-150 was
traveling west on Charleston Boulevard at the intersection of Monticello, attempting
to make a left turn, when it collided with a 2003 Honda CBR 600 that was traveling
east on Charleston Boulevard. Medical personnel arrived at the scene of the
accident, but the injuries sustained by the motorcyclist were too severe, and
they were pronounced dead at the scene. This marks the 85th traffic-related
fatality for LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2025.
