According to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there was a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle at around 3:40 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025. The accident occurred at the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Mountain Vista Street. A 2007 Yamaha R6 motorcycle was headed west on Tropicana Avenue at the intersection of Mountain Vista Street when it collided with a 2018 Chevrolet that was attempting to make a left turn onto Mountain Vista Street. The driver of the Chevrolet failed to remain at the site after the crash. Medical personnel arrived on scene, but the injuries sustained by the motorcyclist were too significant, and they were pronounced dead. This marks the 147th traffic-related fatality for LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2025.
