According to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a collision involving two vehicles and a motorcycle occurred on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at around 6:13 p.m. The accident took place at the intersection of Russell Road and Buffalo Drive. A 2025 Toyota Tacoma was headed west on Russell Road, approaching the intersection of Buffalo Drive, when it collided with a 2022 Kawasaki Versys-X300 that was headed east on Russell Road. The Kawasaki then struck a 2022 Jeep Compass. Medical personnel arrived on scene, but the motorcyclist was beyond resuscitation and was pronounced dead at the scene. This marks the 5th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction.
