to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a collision
involving a motorcycle and a vehicle occurred on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at
around 6:45 p.m. The accident took place at the intersection of Jones Boulevard
and Crystal Spur Avenue. A 2021 Yamaha YZFR3 was headed south on Jones Boulevard,
approaching Crystal Spur Avenue, when it collided with a 2024 Audi Q8 E-Tron
that was headed north on Jones Boulevard. Medical personnel arrived on scene and
transported the motorcyclist to UMC Trauma Center, where they were later pronounced
dead for their injuries. This marks the 15th traffic-related fatality for LVMPD’s
jurisdiction for 2026.
