According to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle occurred on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at around 12:02 a.m. The accident took place at the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Beach Bay Avenue. A 2024 Kawasaki Ninja was headed north on Buffalo Drive, approaching the intersection of Beach Bay Avenue, when it collided with a 2019 Infinity Q50 that was headed west on Beach Bay Avenue. Medical personnel arrived on scene. The motorcyclist was transported to University Medical Center, and the driver of the Infinity was transported to Mountain View Hospital. The motorcyclist was later pronounced dead at UMC. This marks the 7th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction.
