According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, on February 7, 2025, at 7:07 a.m. a 1999 Suzuki GSX-R 600 motorcycle headed north on Wynn Road. The motorcyclist was speeding past the West Mesa Vista Avenue intersection when the rider lost control and hit the left side of a parked semi-trailer. The rider separated from the bike and struck the second semi-trailer. The Suzuki drove off the road and hit the third semi-truck. Medical personnel arrived on the scene, but the injuries sustained were too severe and the motorcyclist was pronounced dead. This marks the 25th traffic fatality in the LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2025.
