According to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there was a collision with a motorcycle on May 21, 2025, at around 4:14 a.m. on North Walnut Road, just south of Lazy Skies Lane. A 2022 DongFang DF50 SST motorcycle headed south on Walnut Road, approaching Lazy Skies Lane. The motorcyclist veered right and struck a curb. The motorcyclist was then ejected from the bike and into a streetlight pole. Medical personnel arrived on the scene, but the injuries sustained were too significant, and they were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. This marks the 69th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2025.
