According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), on February 12, 2025, at 11:55 p.m. there was a hit-and-run pedestrian accident. A white pickup truck was heading west on Cheyenne Avenue and a pedestrian was in the roadway. The front of the pickup truck hit the pedestrian and pushed further into the street. The truck then proceeded to flee the scene. The pedestrian was transported to UMC Trauma where they reside in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
