Accident Summary:
The LVMPD states that a hit and run accident occurred on December 28, 2022, at approximately 6:32 p.m.
As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department “Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated a pedestrian was crossing Boulder Highway south of E. Russell Road from west to East outside a marked crosswalk. An unknown silver/light gray vehicle was traveling northbound Boulder Highway in the northbound travel lanes. While the pedestrian was crossing the northbound Boulder Highway travel lanes the unknown silver/light gray vehicle struck the pedestrian and continued northbound failing to stop. Medical personnel arrived and began lifesaving measures. Despite all life-saving measures the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the collision scene. The LVMPD air unit and patrol officers attempted to located the vehicle involved but were unsuccessful.”
