Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Frank Sinatra Drive and Caesars Service Drive

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, on January 7, 2025, at around 6:15 a.m., a vehicle pulled in front of a motorcycle causing critical injuries and was later pronounced dead. A 2024 Hyundai Tucson was traveling south on Frank Sinatra Drive approaching the red traffic light at Caesars Service Drive. A 1990 Honda CBR600 was traveling north on Frank Sinatra Drive with a green traffic light at the intersection of Caesars Service Drive. The driver of the Hyundai did not obey the traffic light or the right of way causing the Hyundai to pull in front of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist tried to swerve out of the way, but lost control and struck the rear end of the Hyundai. The motorcyclist was transported to University Medical Center (UMC) Trauma for his critical injuries. On January 9, 2025, LVMPD was notified that the rider was pronounced dead. This is the fourth traffic-related fatality in LVMPD jurisdiction.
