Article Summary:
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there was a collision between four vehicles on North Eastern Avenue and East Stewart Avenue on June 22, 2025, at around 6:24 a.m. A 2021 Toyota Camry that was headed east on Stewart Avenue collided with a 2005 Volkswagen Toureg that was headed north on Eastern Avenue, attempting to make a left turn onto Stewart Avenue. The collision pushed the front of the Toyota into a 2019 Nissan Rogue, and the Nissan rotated and collided with a Peterbilt semi-truck. The drivers of the Volkswagen, Toyota, and Nissan were all transported to the University Medical Center. However, the injuries sustained by the driver of the Volkswagen were too significant, and the driver was pronounced dead. This marks the 82nd traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2025.
