On February 4, 2025, at around 8:34 p.m., there was a single-car collision that happened at South Buffalo Drive and West Tropicana Avenue reports the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). A 2012 Hyundai Accent was headed south on Buffalo Drive approaching the intersection of Tropicana Avenue. The Hyundai failed to make a turn and continued south through the T intersection, striking a barrier wall. Medical personnel arrived on the scene and transported the driver to UMC Trauma where she was in critical condition. However, on February 7, 2025, the driver passed. This is the 26th traffic-related accident in the LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2025.
