2025 Car Accident Survivor Scholarship in Las Vegas, Nevada

Car accidents in Las Vegas and throughout Nevada have a profound impact on victims and their families, often in ways we cannot fully understand unless we experience it ourselves. In 2023, the state of Nevada witnessed 386 crash-related deaths throughout the state. In Las Vegas, including residential areas, the Metropolitan Police Department reported 11,388 injury-related accidents in 2023, of which 152 tragically resulted in fatalities. The leading causes of these accidents were related to failure to yield the right-of-way, failure to maintain a lane, and, most of all, driving under the influence (DUI). These staggering statistics highlight the life-changing consequences car accidents can have, which not only include impacts on victims, but their families as well.

At SJW Car Accident and Personal Injury Lawyers, we have years of firsthand experience working with car accident victims and witnessing the profound mental and physical injuries our clients and their families have had to endure. In an effort to give back to our community and support Las Vegas car accident victims outside our legal representation, we are proud to launch a new initiative aimed at helping the next generation. In 2025, we will be offering a Car Accident Survivor Scholarship for those seeking higher educational opportunities by pursuing college degrees. This scholarship will be available to individuals who have personally been involved in a car accident, as well as those who have lost loved ones in such accidents, as we want to recognize that they too are victims of Las Vegas car accidents. This initiative is our way of offering hope and support to the future of our community and those navigating the aftermath of a car accident.
