Accident Summary:
At around 5 a.m. on January 8, 2025, a vehicle hit an apartment near a southwest Las Vegas apartment complex on Fort Apache Road between the intersections of Twain Avenue and Spring Mountain Road.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash caused a fire hydrant to erupt gushing water all over the roadway. The Las Vegas Valley Water District arrived on the scene at around 7:30 a.m. The intersection remained closed until the scene was cleared. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was treated by a nearby hospital.
