According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a man crashed his 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 into a block wall of 2977 Palma Vista Avenue on January 10, 2025, at 11:42 p.m. A 1997 Dodge Ram was traveling south on McLeod Drive through the intersection of East Vegas Valley Drive. After going through the intersection, the Dodge lost control and rotated off the roadway south of Palma Vista Avenue. The vehicle traveled and collided with a nearby block wall. Medical personnel arrived on the scene and had to extract the driver to transport him to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Due to the speed and impairment of the driver, he was charged with several criminal violations related to this accident. He remains at Sunrise Hospital Medical Center in critical condition.
