Accident Summary:
A vehicle and a motorcycle crash occurred on N Eastern Ave and E CedarAve on January 6, 2025, at 3:53 p.m.
At the that time, a 2007 Nissan Altima was stopped at Cedar Ave at a red traffic light. With the green traffic light, a 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was going southbound on Eastern Ave. A 2018 Honda Civic was stopped at Eastern Ave in the left turn lane with a flashing yellow traffic arrow. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the driver of the Honda failed to yield the right of way and pulled in front of the motorcycle causing a collision. The front of the Honda struck the left side of the motorcycle causing the rider to be ejected forward, onto the street, and into the left side of the Nissan. The motorcyclist was transported to UMC Trauma Center by ambulance where he is suffering life-threatening injuries. The Honda driver sustained injuries but was not transported tothe hospital. The Nissan driver sustained injuries and was also transported to UMC Trauma Center by EMS. No other injuries were reported.
