Accident Summary:
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), on January 8, 2025, at around 3:19 p.m. there was a collision that occurred between two vehicles near South Nellis Boulevard and East Desert Inn Road.
A 2014 Ram 1500 was headed northbound on Nellis Boulevard approaching the intersection of Vista Flora Way and a 2006 Toyota Sienna was headed southbound on Nellis Boulevard. The driver of the Ram veered off the right side of the road and over the median into the southbound lanes of Nellis Blvd. The Ram pulled in front of the Toyota causing a crash. Both vehicles were left severely damaged. The driver of the Ram sustained significant injuries and was transported to Sunrise Hospital. The driver of the Toyota had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries. According to LVPMD, the driver of the Ram was booked at Clark County Detention Center for DUI.
