Accident Summary:
The LVMPD states that a fatal collision between an automobile and a semi-truck occurred at approximately 10:11 p.m. on June 20, 2022.
As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department “Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated that a green 2003 Ford Escape was traveling north on North Lamb Boulevard approaching the Alto Avenue intersection. A Kenworth TT semi-truck and trailer was traveling south on North Lamb Boulevard preparing to conduct a left-turn onto Alto Avenue. A collision occurred when the semi turned left across the Ford’s path of travel. The right front passenger of the Ford sustained mortal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding emergency medical services. The driver of the Ford sustained critical injuries and was transported to University Medical Center’s Trauma Unit for medical treatment.”
