The LVMPD states that a vehicle vs motorcycle accident occurred on September 12, 2022, at approximately 12:58 p.m.

As stated in the Press Release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department “Evidence at the scene, witness statements, and video of the collision indicated a Nissan Titan pickup truck was making a U-turn from northbound N. Las Vegas Boulevard north of N. Walnut Road from a left turn lane. While the Nissan Titan was in the southbound N. Las Vegas Boulevard travel lanes during the U-turn, a Aprilia RS motorcycle was traveling southbound N. Las Vegas Boulevard towards the Nissan Titan at a high rate of speed . A collision occurred when the front of the Aprilia RS impacted the front passenger’s side of the Nissan Titan. The rider of the Aprilia RS was ejected and landed in the landscape on the north side of the roadway. Arriving medical personnel determined the rider was beyond medical intervention and he was pronounced deceased at the collision scene. The passenger of the Nissan Titan was transported to UMC Trauma with minor injuries. The driver of the Nissan Titan did not display any signs of impairment and cooperated with the investigation.”
