Ian McGinn, Esq.

Ian was raised in Las Vegas after moving here with his family as a young child. He attended and graduated from Bonanza High School. After high school, Ian attended the University of Nevada, where he studied criminal justice and economics.

After graduating from the University of Nevada, Ian worked for a top Nevada law firm before deciding to attend law school. Ian earned his juris doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Following law school, Ian clerked for the Honorable Michael P. Villani of the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County, Nevada. After his clerkship, Ian accepted a job at a prominent Las Vegas law firm where he practiced in the areas of complex civil and commercial litigation, including high-dollar product liability and wrongful death cases. Ian represented clients who received settlements and judgments in their favor totaling more than two billion dollars.

In addition to fighting for the injured, Ian, a father of three young children, provides his time and skills pro bono (for free) to represent children through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Child Advocacy Program. Ian relishes the opportunity to assist children who have entered the system, through no fault of their own, to make sure their voice is heard and that they are receiving the benefits and support they need.
