According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), an accident occurred at the intersection of Warm Springs and Burnham Avenue near Sunset Park on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at around 7:41 a.m. A 2023 Ford F-150 was headed west on Warm Springs Road, east of Burnham Avenue. A 2006 Toyota Matrix headed south near a private driveway of 2180 East Warm Springs Road. As the Toyota exited the private driveway onto Warm Springs Road, the front of the Ford hit the driver’s side of the Toyota. Medical personnel arrived on the scene and transported the driver of the Toyota to Sunrise Hospital. Due to the circumstances of the collision, the driver was pronounced dead due to her injuries. This is the fifth traffic-related fatality in LVMPD jurisdiction.
